Product / Application Engineer

Responsibilities

- Work with Sales & Marketing department to identify new product opportunities and provide

visibility to new product market

- Work with IC design team to design and develop prototype board for product testing

- Assist in writing documentation like product user guide, product specifications

- Provide sound technical customer support in solving unique customer applications

- Design and develop demonstration board for customers

- Design and develop MCU based product applications

- Design and develop application software for early stages of product development

Job requirement

- Knowledge in and understanding of MCU applications

- Knowledge in MCU Assembly language programming, C programming, Windows driver

programming and Windows GUI programming

- Knowledge of MCU programmer, debugger and compiler are preferred

- Relevant MCU software and hardware design experience are preferred

- Experience in development with FPGA is preferred

- Self-motivated, well-organized, independent and excellent interpersonal and

communication skills

- Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills with smart common sense

- Fluent in spoken and written English, Mandarin and Cantonese

IC Design Engineer (Analog)

Job duties:

? Design of embedded analog/mixed-signal IC circuits for 8-bit/32-bit Microcontroller

(MCU) or Systems-on-a-Chip (SoC).

? The job includes detailed circuit design and analysis, schematic capture and layout,

circuit simulation, behavior modeling (C , Matlab, Verilog), IC testing and debugging

Requirement:

? Knowledge of engineering fundamentals especially in Deep Submicron CMOS

technologies

? Knowledge of analog circuit design and analysis (Op-Amp, references, pll, adc, dac)

? Knowledge of MOS device modeling and noise analysis

? Hands-on IC layout skills and IC measurement skills

? Familiar in any of the following analog design areas

o DC-DC converter / LDO topologies

o High resolution delta sigma ADC / DAC

o Audio Class AB / D amplifier

o SRAM / OTP / Flash memory

o GHz wireless transceiver

IC Design Engineer (Digital)

Job duties:

? RTL Design for multimedia system-on-chip

? Logic Verification and Timing analysis

Requirement:

? knowledge in ASIC/FPGA design methodology

? In-depth knowledge in embedded processors (ARM/MIPS/DSP) MMU/caching, buses

(AMBA)

? knowledge in OS (Linux) virtual memory/threading/power management is a plus

Experience in image, video or audio signal processing algorithms implementation on

DSP or RISC processors, especially with detailed level knowledge of video codecs,

e.g. MPEG-4/H.264/VC-1 is a plus

? Able to code in 'C' and Verilog RTL

? Knowledge in High Speed Serial Data Link, eg. USB, SATA, Ethernet, PCIe

? Knowledge in Radio Frequency baseband processing.

Software Engineer / Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

- Work with Sales & Marketing team to identify new product opportunities and provide

visibility to new product market

- Work with IC design team for new MCU design validation

- Design and develop MCU based product applications

- Design and develop PC application development tools and Windows device driver

- Assist in writing documentation like product user guide, product specifications

Job requirement

- degree holder in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering or similar

discipline

- Knowledge and experience in MCU Assembly language and C programming

- Knowledge in MCU programmer, debugger and compiler is preferred

- Knowledge and experience in Windows driver programming and Windows GUI

programming is an advantage

- Knowledge in USB protocol and experience in USB function driver development is an

advantage

- Knowledge in networking protocol and application development is an advantage

- Self-motivated, well-organized, independent and excellent interpersonal and

communication skills

- Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills with smart common sense

- Fluent in spoken and written English, Mandarin and Cantonese
