Qualifications:

2. Graduate Software Engineer Open Source Software

职位描述

Job Description:

As a graduate software engineer of Arm China Open Source Software Group, you will be working closely with Arm China internal teams and Arm global teams as well as external partners to enable and optimize various open source software projects on Arm architecture in any of the areas below:

Programming language feature enabling and optimization, library optimization, tools development

Container and virtualization technology enabling on Arm architecture

Storage/database/big-data/cloud software stack enabling and optimization

Networking data plane software and network function virtualization (NFV)

Embedded software enabling and security feature development for Arm based IoT devices

A successful candidate needs to be flexible enough, with a variety of software development skills and strong commitment to extend the breadth and depth of the technical domains.

Qualifications:

Education

Master Degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or other Engineering domain with relevant experience.

Essential Skills & Experience

Solid C/C programming skills, and experience in Linux programming.

Experience in other programming languages such as Java, Go, Python, Perl, PHP, etc is a plus.

Understanding of computer architecture, data structure, algorithm, and concurrent programming.

Experience with distributed version control systems, such as Git.

Quick learner with good problem-solving skills.

Fluent in English, with clear and effective written and verbal communication skills.

Good team player, flexible, and willing to take challenges.

Desirable Skills & Experience

Experience in open source project development cycle and contribution process.

3. Graduate Software Engineer - Mixed Reality/SLAM

Job Description:

As a graduate software engineer of Arm China Client Solution Engineering Group (Mixed Reality), you will be working closely with Arm China internal teams and Arm global teams as well as external partners to enable and optimize Mixed Reality(VR/AR/MR) technologies, e.g. SLAM (Simultaneous Localization and Mapping) algorithm on ARM-based mobile systems. You will be responsible for helping with technical evaluation, estimation and completion of software optimization tasks identified in collaboration with Marketing and Central Technology colleagues. Our goal is to provide supportive performance information and directly influence the development of future Arm IP. Your accountability would include:

Research, plan, implement and optimize the Mixed Reality(VR/AR/MR) technologies, e.g. SLAM (Simultaneous Localization and Mapping) algorithm on ARM-based platforms

Technical evaluation of proposed software optimization tasks

Build test environments to verify and demonstrate solutions

Collect and analyze the performance data, and contribute to the future Arm IP requirement spec

Progress reporting and liaising with other remote teams

Occasional reactive help for our Ecosystem partners
