Shantou University (STU), founded in 1981，is a comprehensive university jointly supported by the Ministry of Education, the Guangdong Provincial Government and the Li Ka Shing Foundation. It is the only public university in the world that receives long-term funding from the Li Ka Shing Foundation. The University campus is located in the northwestern part of Shantou, a seaside city, covering a total area of 1.26 square kilometers with a floor space of 435,200 m2. Business School of Shantou University (STU BS) was established in 1996. With the motto of Enterprising Achievement, Global Mindset , the School now has over 1,000 undergraduates, and in 2015 gained European Program Accreditation System (EPAS), accredited by European Foundation of Management Development (EFMD). The School also has an MBA program and various executive development programs.

In order to enhance the academic competitiveness, social influence and internationalization level, STU BS sincerely invites international faculties to join the School and to make it excellent in both teaching and research.

1. Positions Wanted
- Post Doctoral Fellow (18 months up to 2 years),
- Assistant Professor,
- Associate Professor, and
- Short-term (a semester up to one year) visiting professors.

2. Major Required and Number of Recruiting

c. Marketing (including global marketing), 1 position

d. Data Science or Data Analysis, 1 position

Opportunities for other areas, including organizational behavior, human resource, management information systems, entrepreneurship, are available.

3. Qualification Required

A relevant Doctoral qualification (awarded or close to completion)

Suitable teaching experience in business schools or relevant higher education institutes;

Demonstrable commitment to enhancing student experience;

Superior capabilities to teach and publish in English;

Subject expertise in the relevant industries or sectors;

Superior capabilities or potential capabilities to lead or conduct academic research, together with well-established academic performance records; or potential for publication in decent international academic journals;

Ability to contribute to the Business School s long terms development, administration, and international collaboration;

Experiences with programme management, international accreditation (EQUIS and/or AACSB), and international working experiences.

4. Salary and Benefits

Remarks：

a. Exceptionally excellent faculty can also apply for the STU Outstanding Talents Funding Project , which offers a university-level funding of 80,000 300,000 per year

b. For the newly recruited faculty who are with doctoral degrees as well as senior and vice-senior professional titles, if their spouses have no jobs, the University will offer each a subsidy of RMB 2,000 per month.

c. A variety of on-campus housing is available for renting. The current house price of Shantou is 5,000-12,000 / sq.m.
