The 2-year 2-phase Management Trainee Program will equip you with professional expertise on port operations and management based on the essential knowledge on our core businesses and corporate culture. With diversified training plans, your development will be accelerated through various learning initiatives including comprehensive and structured classroom lecture, on-the-job training, challenging project assignments, etc.. Mentoring, career coaching and regular performance reviews help you identify your key strengths and development areas to ensure you achieving your professional and personal goals. For the first phase of the MT program, you will take a functional management position with the headquarter or a subsidiary port, acquiring the hands-on experience in the management of container terminal business, bulk cargo terminal business, logistics park business and/or marine transportation related industries . While in the second phase, you will take part in our overseas projects of the investment, construction and/or management of sea terminals outside of mainland China. Who Are We Looking For? Major tasks of the position: n Gain a broad overview of the organization and its business of the company n Acquire or deepen practical knowledge of the operations and management of sea terminals n Acquire site operation management skills (internal / external, technical/commercial) n Provide project support in the areas of overseas investment and/or port construction. n Acquire basic knowledge on the various functional ports and/or logistics park industry. n Map key processes of Budgeting, Campaign, New launch, Marketing Research and Strategy Review n Analyze the industry trends and identify overseas business opportunities to developing strategies Qualifications: n Undergraduate or above, majored in Marine Transport and Logistic Economics, International Finance, Finance Management, Business Administration, Accounting and etc. n Fresh graduates ，Foreign student in China or overseas Chinese student is an advantage n Commitment to and passion for a long term career in the sea terminal profession n Strong leadership potential n Good analytical skills and decision making capability n Learning agility n Courage to challenge status quo for improvement and innovation n Excellent communication skills with proficiency in English. Fluency in Mandarin is an advantage n Good at standard business software.
