In line with its mission growth through effective communication CACTUS offers specialist academic editing, medical communications, publication support, transcription, translation, and training services to individuals and corporations across sectors such as academia, publishing, and pharmaceuticals.

We are looking for experienced translators to work on academic manuscripts written in Japanese. To qualify, you must have technical expertise in your field. Experience working in a foreign-language setting will be preferred. Essentially, your work will involve translating an academic research paper from Japanese into English.

As an Associate, Intern at CACTUS, you will drive process and systems enhancements and support business requirements.

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Creating Tax Invoices based on requests received by clients/CMs

2. Created Adjusted invoices based on customization requests

3. Monitor and Track pending Tax invoices and ensuring on time issue

4. Uploading Tax invoice information on Govt. Accounting software

5. Timely Printing and dispatching Tax invoices

6. Coordinating between external vendors and CMs to ensure smooth dispatch of invoices

Desired profile:

1. Needs to have a strong aptitude for learning

2. Needs to understand various payment systems used for online transactions (training/orientation will be provided) in China

3. Needs to be comfortable with numbers and coordinating with various stakeholders (Internal/External)

Job location: Shanghai, China

Duration: 6 months (preferable)
