GENERAL SUMMARY:

We are building our next generation of sales professionals, and are seeking recent graduates to begin an exciting career in our Sales Development Program. This is an ideal opportunity for candidates who want to utilize their technical skills to develop solutions and drive value for customers. Individuals will be assigned to a sales team in one of PolyOne s divisions and locations based on their interests and skills.

The program will include business unit specific training lasting approximately 3 to 6 months. During this period, individuals will be exposed to customer service, plant operations, warehouse/logistics functions, travel within the sales territory and classroom training to gain a full overview of their assigned business unit. Individuals will shadow experienced sales representatives to learn our Value Based Selling program. Upon completion of the training program, individuals will be responsible for securing business from prospective and current accounts to achieve annual sales and profit objectives. It is expected that post-training, the position will require to have frequent travel.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Identify unmet customer needs and develop strategies to address them.

识别未获满足的客户需求,并制定策略来解决

Implement marketing programs and work with customers on new application development.

实施市场开拓项目并且与客户共同开发新的应用

Establish account development plans to track and close new business targets consistent with long term growth objectives.

实现客户开发计划来跟踪及完成新的业务目标,以达成长期业务成长目标

Develop, execute and manage sales plans, sales budgets, and expense budgets.

制定、实施并管理销售计划,销售预算以及开销预算

After training period, position requires travel

培训后该岗位员工将会有较频繁的出差

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

岗位要求

Bachelors Degree required; technical discipline (Plastics Engineering, Polymer Engineering, or Chemical Engineering) preferred.

本科以上学历,技术背景(塑料工程,高分子工程或化学工程)优先

Prior customer service or sales related experience preferred.

有相关客服或销售相关经验的优先

Technical aptitude.

拥有技术能力

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

良好的口头及书面沟通能力

Self motivated

具有自我激发能力

Team Player

良好的团队精神

Strong computer skills: proficiency with MS Word & Excel preferred.

较好的计算机操作能力

Strong organizational skills required.

良好的组织能力
