Academy Trainee - IC Test Engineer (Location: Shanghai)
Responsibilities:
- Provide pre- & post-sale support for Verigy SOC test systems to world-wide customers
- Initiate and develop new test methodologies and solutions based on customer's needs
- Develop or convert test program and design hardware interface for SOC devices on Verigy test systems
- Optimize test program to reduce test time and increase fault coverage
- Solve engineering and production problems for customers
- Document all projects and intellectual knowledge
- Collaborate with colleagues from application development team, division, field personnel for project
implementation
- Communicate with customers to ensure services delivered meet their requirements

Qualifications:
- Master degree in microelectronics, semiconductor, electronic engineering, automation, communications,
computer science or related disciplines
- Project experience in IC design, IC application development, application support or test engineering is
preferred
- Strong verbal and written English skill
- Quick learner
- Can work effectively under high pressure
- Good communication skill
- Strong interest in becoming a technical expert
- Flexibility to take overseas business trip extensively


Academy Trainee - Software engineer (Location: Shanghai)
Responsibilities:
- Provide software development service for Verigy's test platforms to world-wide customers
- Initiate and develop new software solutions based on customer's needs
- Perform test program conversion, development and optimization
- Research, design and develop software solution and processes to improve test program development
and production efficiency on Verigy's test platforms
- Document all projects and intellectual knowledge
- Collaborate with colleagues from application development team, division, field personnel for project
implementation
- Communicate with customers to ensure services delivered meet their requirements

Qualifications:
- Master degree in computer science or related discipline
- Strong software engineering knowledge on waterfall procedure, iterative development, etc.
- Skillful on objective oriented design and programming
- Strong programming skills in C/C++, Java or Perl languages
- Familiar with Linux platform software development
- Basic knowledge on electronic engineering is preferred
- Strong verbal and written English skill
- Quick learner
- Can work effectively under high pressure
- Good communication skill
- Strong interest in becoming a technical expert
- Flexibility to take overseas business trip extensively
