The Company

Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies (VWS), the technological subsidiary of Veolia Water, specializes in the engineering, design and construction of turnkey plants and water treatment solutions: drinking water and wastewater for public authorities and process water and effluents for industrial companies. With 9000 employees operating in more than 60 countries, VWS provide a unique array of technological solutions adapted to local authorities and industry.

The Position

Reporting to the Supply Chain Director, the Supply chain Secretary will be responsible for supporting the supply chain Department operation.

Her main responsibilities will comprise the following:

- Perform general administrative and operational support to the department, which may involve some highly confidential information.

- Assist in procurement daily paper work

- Sort out procurement PO,data and related information;

- Filling procurement follow up list and summary data

- Attend meetings to take notes and provide translation support (English / Chinese)

- Translate technical documents (internal & external)

- Filing of technical documentation

Candidate profile

The candidate must have a minimum qualification of diploma and above in related field, and 1 to 2years experience in a similar position.

He/she should also demonstrate the following pre-requisites:

§ Excellent written and spoken English applied to technical subjects

§ Good manner with effective communication skills and positive attitude

§ Good typing skills

§ Proficient with Microsoft Word / Excel / Power point

§ Good ability to proofread documents for accuracy and completeness

§ Initiative in resolving problems and making recommendations
