Hanesbrands (Nanjing) Textile Co. Ltd. is a new facility located in the Nanjing Export Processing Zone, it occupies 320 K square meters. This facility was established on September 5th, 2007 and will become a vital component in Hanesbrands’s global and Asian supply chain. The production capacity for phase one of the facility is 40,000 tons of underwear fabric per year. The new facility will employ state-of-the-art equipment and the most advanced technologies, allowing it to greatly exceed the level of China’s textile industry average. The facility will become a model of clean manufacturing for the entire textile industry.
