岗位描述 He or she should be a highly motivated Research Scientist to work in a fast-paced team environment. The successful candidate will have either a master degree with experience in drug discovery in several therapeutic areas including metabolic diseases (diabetes/obesity), inflammation, or chronic liver diseases (fibrosis), preferably in a pharmaceutical industry setting. Candidates are expected to have extensive hands-on experience in development of animal models such as diabetes/obesity, inflammatory (COPD, CIA, etc) and/or chronic liver diseases (liver fibrosis and cancer). The candidate should have strong management skills and is able to work independently. Familiarity with animal handling, survival surgery, hands on experience in clamp studies for diabetes, body composition and oxygen consumption for obesity, FACS and/or imaging technology for liver fibrosis quantization is a plus. Knowledge and experience in basic cellular and molecular assays are required. Excellent communication, organization, flexibility, and collaborative skills are essential. The candidate is expected to have the ability of working independently. He or she should also demonstrate leadership in assigned projects including management of the project, design and execution of experiments.

岗位描述 He or she will work on safety-related projects, develop or use in vitro test systems or animal models for toxicology studies. Design, conduct, interpret, and report non-clinical studies of the safety (toxicity) of compound in drug discovery. Provide problem solving expertise to develop cell and molecular approaches to model, detect and investigate mechanisms of specific toxicities. Closely collaborate/interact with other team members and be expected to be highly motivated. Capability to design, accomplish and analyze a study data independently is our requirement. The candidate must have basic knowledge in neuroanatomy and those technical skills associated with neuroscience.
