As a startup company with significant resources (no loans, no credits) Lyko Labs aims to be profitable after 12 to 18 months after initial operation. Technology inherited from founder companies will allow deployment of unique solution for STB market with short time to the market. The goals of company include not only client side software for Digital STB but also server side software, unique small applications to be included in client application and also game development for next generation high-end Set Top Boxes.Office and LocationLyko Labs is located in prime location in Zhuhai – International Science Center (国际科技大厦) at the heart of Xiangzhou district. Lyko Labs aims to converge Digital TV and Network Services within single Set Top Box – Access to video portals – Video On Demand through IP – Pay Per View through IP – Hybrid services ? Create unique media server for home usage – Media center either running on STB or PCProject: Game engine for STB ? Gaming becomes important part of all kind of mobile devices ? Game Engine for STB – 3D Game Engine – Networking Multiplayer – Downloadable Games ? Games based on Game Engine – Small multiplayer gamesJunior Software Engineer: 8 ? Requirement: – Good skill in C language (C is an asset) – Good command of English (at least reading and writing) – Knowledge about digital broadcast or networking technologies will be an advantage – Good communication skillIntermediate Software Engineer: 6 ? Requirement: – Either master degree or 2-3 years experience in software development – Good skill in C language (C is an asset) – Good command of English (at least reading and writing) – Knowledge about digital broadcast or networking technologies will be an advantage – Good communication skill – Experience in programming embedded systems or Linux development will be an advantage – Master is welcomeSenior Software Engineer: 2 ? Requirement: – At least 3 years of working experience preferably with embedded systems – Very good skill in C language – Knowledge of C and STL will be an asset – Good command of English (at least reading and writing) – Knowledge about digital broadcast or networking technologies will be an advantage – Good communication skill – Degree is welcomeHardware Engineer (System Design) ? Requirement: – Minimum 3 years experience in System Design (PCB Layout, Debugging, Testing) – preffered for embedded systems (mobile phones, media players) – Good command of English (at least reading and writing) – Good communication skill – Knowledge of Verilog or VHDL for FPGA programming will be an advantageGraphics Artist: 1 ?
