Business scope:
IPS APAC Solution Service business unit: Currently, 8 regions: Singapore, China, India, Australia, Japan, Indonesia, Taiwan, Thailand

There are 3 Domains and 8 teams within IPS APAC Solution Service business unit, i.e. Industry-wide Total Solution (MES solution team), Special Market Solution (Upstream Modeling Solution Team, Off Site Team), Special Function Solution (Optimization Tech Team, APC Team, OTS Team, Asset Mgmnt Team, and MRA Team).

MES Solution is the Unique one industry-level total solution among all solutions.

Job Title: MES Consultant Internship

Description:
As an assisting member of the international project team of IPS APAC Solution Service – MES solution team, provides analytical and technical support to project team(s), especially focus on software development.
Qualified candidates will have more possibility to attend IPS APAC solution service team after the internship period.

Job Duration:3 month (3-4 working days per week)

Job Location:Beijing office

Job Responsibilities:
Implement Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) in manufacture plants (Chemical, Oil & Gas etc.) in China and abroad

Programming customized application software, application interface, HMI, etc.

Technical support and maintenance of system

Mainly work with global clients and internal project team to ensure opportune and quality delivery;

Project management affair with multi-lateral parties
Job Requirements:
Bachelor or master degree in computing, automation or information technology, chemical engineering
Programming experience with MS Visual Studio for B/S & C/S applications
Deep knowledge and knowledge of the relational database, especially MS SQL Server
Knowledge and experience of MS Sharepoint Service is preferred
IT work experience in manufacture plants (Chemical, Oil & Gas etc.) is preferred
Knowledge of communication protocols like OPC, TCP-Socket and others is preferred
Excellent verbal, written, English language skills and presentation communication skills
Be willing to travel in China and oversea
