Test Engineer
· Candidates for this position must posses good overall knowledge of wireless digital communications systems and CDMA 1X/EVDO/IS95 and preferably in WCDMA/UMTS, GSM and GPRS physical layer protocols and standards
· Experience in System-level, User-Interface-level functional-level, and performance-level tests for web-based server is a must
· Strong network optimization and test experience are required to fulfill these job responsibilities
· Execute voice, data, UI and new feature testing with data collection SW parsing & analysis tools
· Extensive field and lab tests would be required to fully test and validate the test tools
· Experience in PHP, Javascript, HTML, XHTML, Ajax, Perl, C/C++, etc
· Experience in SW performance and stability test of voice and data handheld devices based on CDMA and UMTS technologies would be a plus
· Should be familiar with CDMA, UMTS standards, HTTP, and TCP/IP
· Hands on technical support experience
· Prior knowledge on handset test experience would be helpful
· 3 years of industry experience
· Knowledge on CDMA handset would be a plus
· Good understanding of Operating Systems and multi-tasking experience
o Education Requirements:
§ Bachelor degree and above in EE or Computer Science
