Climate Bridge is an international company committed to reducing greenhouse gas emissions through the global carbon markets, both under the auspices of the Kyoto Protocol and also via the voluntary market. We are based in Shanghai, Chennai and London. Climate Bridge has invested in more than 100 emission reduction projects all over China, from technologies as diverse as hydro-electricity, coal-mine methane utilisation, wind-generated electricity, industrial energy efficiency and biogas.

Climate Bridge Ltd. is looking for motivated, intelligent young staff who are passionate about environmental protection in China to join its rapidly-growing team in Shanghai.

Position: Projects Manager

Location: Shanghai

Responsibility: To manage Climate Bridge’s activities in locating, developing and certifying environmentally-sound emission reduction projects all over China

Requirements:
? A keen interest in carbon trading, the Kyoto protocol and environmentalism in China generally
? Chinese local with native fluency in Mandarin Chinese
? Excellent English reading and writing skills
? Ability to take on a great deal of responsibility very quickly after joining the company
? Ability to deal with senior clients independently
? Professionalism and relationship building skills
? Willingness to travel (domestically within China)
? Candidates with Bachelor’s degrees in environmental science, environmental engineering or related subjects from a top-tier local university (eg. Fudan University, Jiaotong University, Peking University, Tsinghua University, Tongji University) are preferred
? Candidates who also have a Master’s degree in environmental science, environmental engineering or related subjects from a reputable overseas university will be strongly preferred
