Master Program for Power Engineering (English Program)

Siemens China will provide up to 5 scholarships to the Chinese students at Brandenburgische Technische Universit t Cottbus (BTU). The students will be enrolled in the power engineering master program of the university in Oct 2008, and graduate by Sept 2010, Siemens China will sponsor each student a scholarship of RMB 2,500 per month during his/her 2 years study. Tuition fee is not needed.

The 2 years study is divided into 4 semesters. In the first 3 semesters, students will study at BTU, in the 4th semester, students will work in Siemens operating companies in China as intern, and prepare the dissertation under the supervision of the appointed supervisor from the operating company.

The sponsored students will have opportunities to be employed by Siemens China Power Transmission and Distribution Group, depending on their qualifications and performance.

Siemens China hereby invites excellent students from Tsinghua University to apply for this program. A bachelor degree of power system and automation /electric engineering is a precondition.
