JOB DESCRIPTION

Our ideal candidate is young and very responsible and reliable, and interested in leading a small development team.
She/he is also able (and willing) to learn new technologies quickly and continuously.

Proven experience in the following areas is required:
- at least 5-year experience in web application development (Java or C++/C# or PHP)
- long term experience with CMS (Plone, Joomla, Typo3, etc.)
- familiar with basic Linux system administration
- deep understanding of software architecture and software design patterns

We consider experience in one or more of the following areas as a plus:
- Search engine (Lucene)
- Persistence (JDBC, SQL, Hibernate)
- XML and Web services (SOAP, Axis)
- Eclipse-based IDE
- J2EE application servers (JBoss, Weblogic, WebSphere, Tomcat)
- Configuration management/continuous integration with Ant, Cruise Control, CVS, Java Subversion
- Test-first development and Agile methodologies (JUnit, eXtreme Programming)
- Spring (IOC, AOP)

1) IT consulting for local and international companies with consulting in the following areas:

Strategic advising on distributed software architectures, mobile service opportunities, web marketing, business localisation in China
Design and development of internet and intranet websites, 3G mobile software, web-based software
Outsourcing of software development activities for international sw houses
Operation and maintenance of web sites and applications
2) development of innovative self-designed applications targeting internet end users and .

CAREER PATH

We are looking for people interested in long-term cooperation, with the goal of entering the company management team after some years of proficient cooperation. For this reason it is essential that candidates be strongly motivated and responsible, interested in developing and improving the company rather than simply working for the company.
Since Eggsist is planning to open new offices in Europe (always based on the idea of small teams of specialized professionals), the final goal of this career path is, along the years, the CTO position for the China office.
