DEVELOPMENT Solutions (DS) is a European consultancy working internationally in the field of sustainable development and sustainable investments across the four divisions of policy consulting, energy and environment, business facilitation and human capacities. Our public sector clients include the European Commission, European Member State governments and international organisations. On the private sector side we support investors to realise projects with sustainable applications, particularly in the areas of environment, energy efficiency and climate change. Our expertise, applied mainly in emerging markets across Asia, steers investors to meet the challenges of sustainable investments. This work builds on our strong grounding in government relations, policy and regulatory expertise and our network of local and international institutions and experts.

Recent graduates with strong career interest in the DEVELOPMENT sector will be given the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a range of high profile development sector projects in the area of Trade and Development, Environment and Social development areas. The primary tasks of this position will be to support with execution activities for existing projects and for new business development. The Project Executive will provide support to the Project Manager for a range of execution activities including preparation and organisation for seminars, conferences, communications and related activities. This position reports to the Project Manager.

Required Qualifications

• University Graduate or 1-2 Years experience working at Project Executive or equivalent level. (Note: Recent graduates with limited work experience will also be considered for internships)
• Demonstrated interest in the sustainable DEVELOPMENT arena (Trade/ Environment/ Social)
• Good research skills (including ability to research English language sources)
• Ability to be a good “Hands-on operator”. Excellent communication, coordination and organisational skills.
• Good Team Player
• Fluency in written and spoken English and Chinese essential
