Established in 2007, SVB Capital China Councils Fund ("the Fund") is a China‐dedicated
private equity fund that manages over US$200 million from reputable investors. With
headquarters in Shanghai, the Fund also has an office in Palo Alto, U.S. to cover international
markets.

companies in China. SVB Capital provides value‐added support in China and globally to help
its portfolio companies formulate and execute a successful China/international strategy.

Job Description

There is no work experience requirement for Summer Intern. However, it would be a plus if
the candidate has deal execution experience (M&A, and/or Direct Investment) or operational
track record (Strategy, R&D, Marketing, etc) in a specific industry with a strong analytical
skill set related to financial sponsor transactions.

Candidates will be expected to help Associate and the team from day one analyzing,
modeling, structuring and supporting all stages of the deal execution process. The Summer
Intern will also help conduct industry and market due diligence, documentation and perform
other duties as needed. Candidates must have a high‐achievement track record, superior
maturity, integrity and in particular, the highest level of professionalism given that the
candidates will frequently help the Fund in discussions with Bankers, Accountants, Lawyers,
Senior Management of portfolio companies, etc. The position requires a minimum 2‐month
commitment.

Requirements

.. Bachelor/Master degree from China top university. Major in Engineering/Finance
/Economics/Accounting is preferred. MBA is a plus.

.. Native in Mandarin, Fluent in English

.. Superior academic and performance record; Strong analytical skills

.. Excellent interpersonal, communication and written skills and a higher level of
maturity

.. Ability to be multi‐ asked and work effectively in a team‐oriented environment
