Introduction of Daktronics

Daktronics is recognized worldwide as a leader in the large display industry.

The company designs, manufactures, sells, and services a variety of display products in three primary markets:

sports, commercial, and transportation.

Sports market customers include schools, colleges and universities, professional teams and facilities, sports federations, and international events and organizing committees.

Commercial customers include financial institutions, hotels and motels, gaming, auto dealers, convenience stores, shopping centers and other retail establishments.

Transportation applications include display systems for state and city departments of transportation, mass transit systems, airlines and airports, bus terminals and other transportation agencies.

Job Duties:

1.

Design and create animations and commercials for LED displays in China.

2.

Create proposal animations, pre-visualizations and graphic frames for demonstrations and presentations to customers.

3.

Discuss concepts with creative director and customers.

4.

Assist project management team with budgets and assignments for artists.

Job Requirements:

1.

Major in animation production and editing.

2.

In depth knowledge of graphics software such as Maya, Mental Ray, After Effects and/or other similar programs.

3.

Other software knowledge is a plus.

4.

Regularly and reliably work the scheduled hours.

5.

Self-motivated, with initiative and well organized.

6.

Ability to effectively communicate in English.

7.

Strong interpersonal skills - ability to work in a team setting - ability to give and receive feedback on work..

8.

Must be able to read and speak English.

9.

Students who will graduate in 2009 are preferred.

10.

Able to work at least 4 days in the summer vacation and at least 3 days after September,2008.
