Management Sciences are the technologies of scientific methods, which provide a quantitative basis for the purpose of forecasting, planning, management and decision making in many business operations. The Department of Management Sciences at the City University of Hong Kong is noted for its strong academic programs. It is one of the largest departments of management sciences in the Asia-Pacific region. City University is located in Kowloon, with convenient access to many Hong Kong attractions.

==== 要求 =====

The applicant is expected to have

- Strong desire to conduct world-class research
- Bachelor degree with GPA>=85/100; advanced degree or relevant research experience would be a big plus
- Strong background in applied mathematics (e.g., optimization theory, stochastic models, queuing theory and control theory)
- Research experiences in one of the above two research directions
- Good command of written and oral English

The length of contract is flexible, ranging from three months to one year. The salary and benefits are highly competitive.
