Recruitment for Social Compliance Assessor

ALGI is an American company with 12 years experience in the field of social compliance and corporate responsibility. We are accredited by entities like WRAP, FLA, BSCI and SA8000, to perform social assessment and certifications. Besides our comprehensive Social compliance programs we also provide services ranging from training to special investigations covering labor law, human rights, freedom of association and environmental practices to mostly American and European clients.

Job Title: Social Compliance Assessor

Location: Shenzhen (PRC)

Duties:
Performing on site factory visits to determine Social Compliance and Corporate Responsibility status.
Reporting result of social audits to clients, according to their own requirements and/or ALGI standards
Research on Labor Law Issues.

Experience:
Not required but this will be considered when reviewing applications and making salary offers.
Training will be provided if necessary.

Education:
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.

Job Requirements:
Full command of English language, both spoken and written.
Native Mandarin/Cantonese speaker
Organization and writing skills are required.
Flexibility for traveling, as the position requires approximately 30% time to be spend on travel in China and some to south East Asia.
Knowledge of accounting processes and or legal background are a plus.
Team work.
