Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations:

Power device development engineer responsible for device design and characterization, process design and characterization, ESD design and characterization, test mask structure definition and design rule definition for next generation power devices. Engineers require a good understanding of tradeoffs between power performance metrics. This individual will need to be proficient at device characterization and device characteristic interpretation, analytical techniques for silicon structural analysis, and techniques for studies of intrinsic technology reliability as well as device specific reliability. Cadence usage and Pcell generation, as well as Dessis and Dios simulation will be a portion of the job responsibility.

Specific Knowledge/Skills:

Advanced studies (PhD EE) from leading power institute, or MS with direct Smartpower experience or device experience which will be directly applicable to Smartmos technologies.

A thorough understanding of todays competitive landscape and of the most recent analog and power conference proceedings is preferable.
