Its ultimate corporate mother company is Group La Poste, the French postal operator. The core business of DPD Direct Parcel Distribution Co., Ltd. includes Domestic and International Parcel & Express, Warehousing, International Freight Forwarding and Customs Clearance. DPD is also one of the certified Chinese Class I international freight forwarders.
