Why Weir ESCO’s Graduate Program is for You

Today’s STEM leaders must master a broad skillset in multiple disciplines. Weir ESCO is pleased to introduce an accelerated leadership development program for recent college graduates seeking professional work experience in core engineering fields. Our program gives early-career engineers specialized technical and business skills in the mining equipment sector. If you want to make a difference in an evolving field—and in the world—through innovation, safety and sustainability, we want to meet you.

As part of this program, graduates will commit to a two-year engagement, including four 6-month rotations at multiple Weir ESCO locations. Professional development, mentoring, broad exposure to our global business, and impactful work alongside industry experts and customers, will be part of this unique experience—and you will be supported by a group of smart, hard-working people, many of whom started with the company early in their careers.

This is a full-time work opportunity. Most of our graduates will be early-career engineers who want to accelerate their path to professional work experience, so we will be considering full-time placement at Weir ESCO upon completion of the program.

Job Knowledge / Education and Qualifications
Applicants must be:

A recent graduate (or planned graduation this year) with engineering degree (mechanical, electrical, metallurgical, industrial, chemical or process engineering)

Able to travel for extended periods of time (six months or more) to Weir ESCO locations, which may include an international site.

Fluent in English, both reading and writing.

Able to provide official college transcripts when submitting your application and resume.
