The JUMP! China Hub seeks to strengthen the JUMP! China Community to support the design and delivery of experiential learning programs from our Beijing base. We are searching for skilled individuals based in China with a willingness to learn new functions and a passion for promoting inclusive and positive change to fill Program Management, Travel Coordinator, Facilitator, and Community Builder within our Program Management Team.

Required Skills (all of the below):

· Experience leading, guiding, teaching, coordinating, or instructing groups

· Experience working with youth

· English and Mandarin proficiency

· First aid training and/or experience responding to medical issues

· 中英文流利

· 接受过野外救援培训或有应对医疗情况的经验

Specific Skills Sought (1 or more of the below):

· Experience conducting site visits and assessing risk in the field for adventure-based activities

· Experience in video or visual storytelling

· Deep knowledge of Chinese history as related to religion

· Field research skills and/or experience

· Wilderness Advanced First Aid (40 hours) certification

· Extensive experience leading multi-day kayaking expeditions or certification

· Extensive experience leading backcountry wilderness hiking and camping expeditions

· Travel coordination (booking hotels, accommodation, flights, food)

The specific skills are needed for varying periods of time, from the entire fall season (early August – November) to shorter-term time periods (1-2 weeks). In joining our J! TITLE: Facilitator (Various)

ROLE RESPONSIBLITIES:

· Facilitating personal and community development activities that challenge students to get out of their comfort zones

· Provide first response and safety, physical and emotional, for a group of students on their learning journey

REQUIRED SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:

· Previous experience facilitating/guiding wilderness or cultural immersion programs for students

· WAFA Certificate or higher (Wilderness Advanced First Aid)

· Able to provide Criminal Background Check in home country

· Mandarin Proficiency/English Fluency

SPECIFIC SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:

· Experience leading field research

· Experience leading camping and backcountry expeditions

· Leading kayaking groups and/or kayaking Certifications

· Leading cycling groups
