Global Transaction & Payment Services (GTPS) is designed for individuals as well as domestic and international financial companies and institutions seeking support with transactions (bank, commercial and corporate transactions) and/or payments. What is the career paths in GTPS?
It is important for a Management Trainee of GTPS to understand inside-out of GTPS business operation. So, each Management Trainee will have the opportunities to work in different functions such as Product Development, Middle Offices, Front Line Sales; and different locations across China where GTPS has presence. You build the knowledge base of modern GTPS methodology from back to front and practice the necessary skill-sets gained through the processes. At the same time, this will help the candidate to understand in depth throughout the process the positioning of individual interest versus actual capabilities, to better design future personal career development. At graduation, you will be re-positioned within GTPS function as Sales Manager, Product Manager or Middle Office Manager, depending on your personal interest and your evidenced capabilities. Given future performance, Management Trainee will also have opportunity to move among different functions or locations, to enrich your experience in global GTPS field and become an industrial expert.
Product Manager
Product manager jobs involve working for GTPS mainly focusing on business intelligence, product development, and communication on products. The functions you may implement while in such a position include the following:
Research and analyses market conditions to identify gap;
Identify opportunities for product innovation and product enhancements;
Define and execute product strategies, including pricing strategies and product policies;
To ensure that product solutions are aligned with regulatory requirements with inputs by concerned stakeholders.
Sales Manager
Sales jobs involve working for GTPS mainly focusing developing new TRA & PCM clients,
Develop trade business to customers within assigned portfolio;
Client relationship management;
Sales and pitching;
Work closely with GTPS product team to achieve the target set of each product;
Manage proactively sales activities for reporting;
Proactively cross-sell trade products and services according to branch product marketing plans and customer needs;
Who are we looking for?
Fresh graduates (bachelor or master’s degree holders) or young graduates with less than 2 years work experience;
Committed to develop a long-term career in the banking industry;
Being innovative, responsible and result-oriented;
Excellent analytical ability, quick learner and able to work under pressure;
Possessing competent skills in the aspect of team leadership, teamwork, problem solving, interpersonal and communication;
