Job Introduction
Responsible for quote, negotiation, program management and supplier development. Analyzes quotations received and deals with all day-to-day transactions according to defined guidelines. Develops and implements supply base strategy for Magna in MRO commodities.
Major Responsibilities
Execute Purchasing initiatives and strategies for Indirect materials and services
MRO supplier sourcing, pricing benchmarking & negotiation and supplier selection
Keeping the Supplier Information Database accurate and updated in workflow
Keeping the MRO material Prices accurate and updated in workflow
Sustainable cost saving/reduction without compromising the quality and delivery.
MRO Process control, drafting, review, publishing, cascade to all plants.,etc.
Supply base control of MRO consolidation, and supplier master data maintenance
Contract negotiation and signing
Other task assigned
Knowledge and Education
Bachelor's degree in engineering, business or related discipline;
Work Experience
Knowledge of cost breakdown analysis (MRO level)
Ability to deliver results.
Ability to influence others and gain alignment on direction.
Must be computer literate and have experience in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.
Highly developed time management and follow up skills and the ability to multi-task.
English communication, excellent presentation and negotiation skills are essential in this role.
Skills and Competencies
Familiarization of purchasing procedures and policies.
Familiarization with local market, parts requirements.
Target driven, self-standing definition of necessary steps
High motivated and good communication skills
International business experience, open minded, reliable, experience on the job, managing skills
