Innovation Trainee (2 Openings based in Shanghai)YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIESDuring your trainee program you will establish a network inthe global Covestro Organization. From the beginning and during your 24-monthsemployment in different regions, business units, and functions in ourheadquarters and foreign subsidiaries you will take over exciting fields ofactivity. During the traineeship you will assume following tasks:? You will support and lead new, interdisciplinaryprojects/studies under the guidance of your manager and mentor.? Your new role will include conceptualization,implementation, and evaluation of studies/experiments, interpretation ofresults, and presentation to diverse committees.? Potential areas of focus: Sustainability, alternative rawmaterials, composite materials, fire-retardant materials, CAE (computer-aidedengineering), application process technology, or digitalization. WHO YOU ARE? You hold a PhD degree in natural sciences in the area ofchemistry, materials science, or engineering, ideally followed by apostdoctoral stay in an internationally accredited institution.? You gained experience through business specific,preferably international, internships or studies abroad and already gainedfirst leadership experience.? You have an open-minded and assertive personality, enjoyworking in a team, and are willing to work abroad on international assignmentswithin the Covestro Group.? You are self-motivated, independent, and withentrepreneurial spirit.? You are fluent in English, both written and spoken.Chinese skills would be an advantage.
