Responsibilities:
As part of the Midrange and Entry Solutions Organization you will play a key role within the Midrange Division at Dell EMC. The successful candidate will become part of a global engineering team to develop Unisphere, which is the management software of Dell EMC’s midrange storage product, Unity. Responsibilities include:
· Develop web application to monitor and manage storage system.
· Develop tools to manage and automate builds, CI and deployment for various environments.
· Develop OEM solution for customer, provide technical expertise in L10N and I18N to global teams.
· Develop and execute test cases, including manual test and automated test.
· Manage development ecosystems including Github, Jenkins and etc.
· Duties may include research, evaluation, development and application of new process and methods into products. Sphere of influence is likely to extend outside of work group or department.
General requirements
· Bachelor or Master Degree is required, background in computer science is preferred.
· 2 years’ experience in software development and testing.
· Good oral and written English.
· Strong problem solving skills.
· Ability to work in a team environment, strong communication and coordination skills.
Skills requirements
· Proficient in JavaScript programming, familiar with CSS & HTML5.
· Familiar with at least one scripting language such as Perl, Shell or Python.
· Prior experience in at least one of the following JavaScript framework: Sencha/Ext-JS, Angular, React, Bootstrap or other well-known framework.
· Experience in full stack web application development is a strong plus.
· Prior experience in Localization (L10N) and Internationalization (I18N) is a plus.
· Knowledge on ecosystem of software development, such as SCM, CI and bug tracking system.
· Knowledge on Scrum and Agile.
· Knowledge on build tool such as ANT, makefile, CMake, Maven or Gradle.
