Job Description
- Layout and validation of hydraulic low-pressure circuits.
- Explain hydraulic functions to common rail customers, validate functions by test-bench and vehicle measurements.
- Cooperate with test engineers to set up and evaluate test bench measurements.
- Join summer and winter tests for vehicle validation of hydraulics under extreme conditions.
- Communicate with other development departments and sales, check component specifications against system specification and customer specifications.
- Define system limits out of measurements and application guidelines, define and verify system specific data
Qualifications
- Engineering or technical Master degree
- Good English language skill (fluent discussion of technical topics possible)
- Quick in understanding technical relations and consequences
- Good team-working capabilities
- Broad technical background
- Basic understanding of electronic engine control units (microcontrollers, governors, software)
- Basic understanding of hydraulics, ideally of common rail hydraulics
