一、招聘岗位

1.国际部项目主任（Program Director）

Employer: The Affiliated Junior High School of South China Normal University
Location: No.516, Jin Zhou Bei Road, Changzhou, Huangpu, Guangzhou, China
Contract: 2 years
Salary: Salary package is negotiable based on experience
Workload: __40__hours/per week

Job Description
The program director works with the program staff to develop an appropriate curriculum and plan activities that are consistent with the mission of the program. Besides, the director should manage the evaluation and assessment procedure of the program. Through both formal and informal assessments, the director will track the progress of the program and individual students as well as provide reports to parents, the school board, and the sponsoring organization.

Working Content

（1）Staff Management
The director is responsible for the recruitment, and training of all staff. The director is the immediate supervisor of the staff. Program director is also in charge of teachers’ performance evaluation and professional development to ensure the quality of the program.

（2）Operations Management
The director manages the operation of International Classes, from ensuring that the staff has the tools and equipment they need to do their jobs. In some cases, the director may also be involved with the financial management in terms of budgeting and purchasing. At the beginning, the director may be required to deliver a part of the courses (preferably English, Science, History of junior high school level) for marketing reason.

（3）Community Relations
The success of the program highly relies on its attractiveness to students and whether it can meaningful and rich experiences. Therefore, the program director needs to build relationships with schools, parents, and community groups to build connections. The director will meet parents, community groups, and school representatives to discuss the program and collect feedbacks on how it can better serve children.

Desired Skills and Expertise:
1. Bachelor's degree in Primary/Early Years/Secondary Education is required. Master’s Degree from US institution in Education or related field is preferred.
2. Solid experience in program designing and delivery (3 years teaching experience preferred)
3. Independent school teaching experience in sciences or humanities is a plus
4. Excellent communication skills, flexibility and creativity
5. A commitment to an interdisciplinary approach and interest in project-based collaboration is a must
6. Online interview and reference letters are required
7. Native English Speaker capable of speaking, reading and writing in Mandarin Chinese
8. Criminal Record Check is a must

2.国际科学课程教师 （Science Teacher）

Employer:The Affiliated Junior High School of South China Normal University

Location:No.516, JinZhouBei Road, Changzhou, Huangpu, Guangzhou, China

Contract Length:2 years renewable on mutual agreement

Salary Range:To be negotiated

Workload:___40___hours/per week

Job Description

The science teacher develops an appropriate curriculum and plan activities for grades 7-9 in science subjects, i.e. life science, physical science, conceptual physics. The teacher should manage the evaluation and assessment procedure of the program. Through both formal and informal assessments, the teacher will track the progress of the program and individual students as well as provide reports to parents and the school board. The science teacher works with the program director as a team and under his/her direct management.

Working Content

（1）Plan, organize, and provide instruction in science subjects that meets American junior high school standards

（2）Adapt curriculum to provide individual, small group, and/or remedial instruction as to meet the needs of individual students and subgroups of students

（3）Maintain complete and accurate records of student progress and evidence of growth and progress

（4） Oversea assigned out-of-classroom activities during the school day, as needed

Desired Skills and Expertise:
1. Minimum of a BA degree preferably in Education
2. Native English speaker with excellent communication skills
3. 3 years of teaching experiences in science subjects
4. Online interview and reference letters are required
5. Ability to clear a background check

Remuneration Package
1. Salary is commensurate with experience plus a performance bonus
