Job Description

Job title: Analyst

Location: Beijing

Start Date: Summer 2017

Our Analysts support senior investment professionals in identifying, analyzing and monitoring investments:

Assist in conducting due diligence on potential target companies:

Analyze financial information to produce future projections about the market potential, competitiveness, suppliers, customers, potential investment returns, etc. of the target company

Evaluate management teams and companies via interviews and company meetings

Research and analyze information about the market/industry to forecast business, industry, and economic conditions. Assist senior staff to develop investment thesis and identify opportunities. Present oral and written reports on general economic trends, individual corporations, and entire industries

Write initial drafts of investment presentations and memos in English and Chinese, which are reviewed and presented by senior staff to the Investment Committee

Assist in executing transactions, including exits, by analyzing different scenarios

Monitor fundamental economic, industrial, and corporate developments through the analysis of information obtained from financial publications and services, investment banking firms, government agencies, trade publications, company sources, and personal interviews

Gather and interpret data affecting investments, such as price, yield, stability, future trends in investment risks, economic influences

Analyze and monitor investees' key performance metrics every month

Liaise with the working level employees at investee companies

Qualifications

Bachelor degree or above.

Good command of both Chinese and English as working languages.

Computer proficiency, especially familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Bloomberg, Wind.

Solid understanding of corporate finance and accounting and strong financial analysis and modeling skills.

Passion about understanding how companies operate and create value for investors.

A short internship with Primavera is preferred but not necessary.
