Cisco Supply Chain (SC)IT team - is partof Cisco IT organization. This is an ITSoftware Engineering position in the Supply Chain IT Team, this role willrequire direct engagement with Cisco Supply Chain Operations business andfunctional clients, translating business objectives into IT solutions,implementing and testing the IT solutions.
Responsibilities:
Perform technical assessment by architecture and business requirements documents.
Write technical design documents for projects & features by functional specifications.
Implement project functionality by technical design document.
Perform unit test and code review.
Review and discuss technical issue & solution with global teams, communicate orally and in written to articulate design and issues.
Bug fix and production issue support.
Work on multiple projects simultaneously when needed
Work for automation framework/scripts development when needed
.
Requirements:
Must have skill/experiences
Strong Java or C programming experience and debugging skills
Strong Database programming experience and debugging skills
Critical thinking and analysis abilities
Strong technical sense and ability to research and find out root cause of technical issues
Familiar with Unix/Linux platform operations
Good team player
Fluent English speaking and writing skills
Below skill/experiences are good plus
Hands-on experience of web technology development and experience, such as J2EE/JavaScript/XML
Hands-on experience on Oracle or MySQL development
Hands-on experience of a scripting language, Perl or Ruby
Hands-on experience of Big Data platforms, such as Hadoop/Spark/SAP HANA/Storm/ElasticSearch
Hands-on experience on Pega platforms
Hands-on experience of machine learning technologies
Hands-on experience on Agile development model
Hands-on experience of automation tools/frameworks, like Selenium/OATS
Networking knowledge
Supply Chain business knowledge
EducationalBackground：
Bachelor or Master in ComputerScience or Electronic Engineering
