About the Job:

This is not a common internship. We are looking for a highly skilled full-stack developer who is motivated to combine the art of design with the art of programming. If you have a strong grasp on several programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery, possess control over web and mobile UX/UI, and have proficiency in PHP and Ruby on Rails, then this is your opportunity to express your potential. You will be responsible for building, optimizing and further developing our global e-commerce platform. Responsibilities:

Develop and test the e-commerce platform across multiple browsers, platforms, and devices.

Deliver ‘best in class’ front-end code across an array of interactive web and mobile projects.

Implement and in charge of projects regarding new features and upgrades to be implemented for our websites.

Debug and test newly implemented features and upgrades.

Works with client services, designers and manage time across multiple projects and tasks in a dynamic and team environment.

Optimize web applications to maximize speed and scalability.

Implementation of security and data protection.

Integration of APIs, multiple data sources and databases into one system

Management of hosting environment, including database administration and scaling an application to support load changes

Implementing automated testing platforms and unit test

Requirements:

B.S. M.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

Proficiency in web and mobile UX/UI best practices.

Proficiency in creating, manipulating, and querying databases.

Proficiency in API / back-end code in PHP or more languages.

Proficiency in HTML&CSS, JavaScript.

Project management experience using Agile & Scrum is a major plus.

Teamwork and Leadership - track record as a strong team player and in leading teams, takes initiatives and is passionate in making a difference.

Problem Solving - strong ability to understand and solve complex problems independently.

Time management - completes allocated tasks before deadlines by good planning and managing of own time wisely.
