Recruitment of Zhejiang University PressJob Position/Department:

Copyright Manager/International Cooperation & Development Department

Job Duties:

Create and update rights catalogues for the selling of Chinese books to foreign markets

Attend international book fairs

Upload suitable Chinese titles to online rights platforms

Research on the latest trends in international publishing keeping staff and leadership up to date

Make proposals to editors on topics of interest to international audiences

Support the importing of books from abroad by assisting in the selection of titles and contract negotiations

Finding and developing relationships and channels with foreign publishers, libraries, agents, authors etc.

Proofreading and polishing English books and proposals

Develop Zhejiang University Press reputation abroad through the use of social media and English website

Qualification:

English native speaker, better if know some Chinese

Bachelor degree or above
