PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

SAP LoB Finance is a global organization dedicated to delivering innovative solutions to meet our customers' unique business process needs in the area of Finance. It consists of a global development organization that works in close collaboration with customers and partners to support superior finance processes and new business models. For over 40 years, SAP has been working successfully with customers from 120+ countries around the globe, helping them become best-run businesses in their industry by solving complex business and IT challenges. On Feb 9th, SAP announced our biggest innovation since R/3 - S/4HANA. SAP is now redefining how enterprise software creates value in a complex world. Simply put, we are bringing together our most recent innovations (SAP HANA platform, SAP Fiori UX) and combining them with over four decades of experience to help you master complex industry challenges.

EDUCATION/ SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

Education

Bachelor degree or above in Computer Since, Information Systems or related technical disciplines

Required skills

Having good experience in object-oriented software development

Having solid knowledge on database and good experience in SQL programming

Being familiar with common algorithms, design patterns, software engineering methodologies

Good business understanding with the ability to understand customer requirements and translate it into features and software design

Fluent in English

Well-organized and good analytical skills. Being able to handle topics with complex business logic.

Open minded, ability to learn quickly and dive into new topics

Quick learner, good communication skill and team player

Preferred skills

Knowledge in Javascript and jQuery programming

Knowledge in ABAP programming

Knowledge in HANA-based development (HANA modeling, SQLScript, XS engine, etc.) User interface development with HTML5 and SAP UI5

Having good software design skills.

Experience with lean and agile methodologies

Experience with cloud solutions

Knowledge in accounting will be a plus

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

Work as developer in an agile development team according to Scrum/Lean methodology, from pre-defined "Product Backlog" into a usable piece of functionality at a full cycle: designing, developing, testing, rolling-out, maintaining a solution

Show strong customer focus (as we work closely with key customers to develop the solution).

Contribute actively to architecture design

Take the responsibility of software design, implementation, testing and maintenance

Cooperate closely with other development teams, product owner and other stakeholders

Interested in extending knowledge in related business processes

Working Experience

No more than 5 years of working experience in software development

Being agile to adjust development/testing tasks according to changed requirement and context.

Being well organized and having good analytical skills. Being able to handle topics with complex business logic.

Strong test case design capability on end to end business scenarios

Fluent in English, both verbal and written

Being open minded and quick learner. Having good communication skill and team player

Having strong interest in business processes and applications

Preferred skills

Experience in automated testing is a plus

Knowledge in Accounting will be a plus

Experience with LEAN and Agile methodologies

Experience with cloud solutions

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

Work as quality specialist in an agile development team according to Scrum/Lean methodology

To analyze, define, implement and execute quality and test related activities according to a given quality- and test strategy or -concept for the team focus.

To create a detailed test design incl. test system landscape requirements and product standards, prepares tests (customizing & master data), authors and executes manual and/or automated tests.

To raise incidents and follows up with re-test of corrections.

To analyzes test results (issues) and take appropriate follow-up actions.

To coach the team in terms of quality assurance and test related processes, methods and tools.

To cooperate closely with other development teams and product owner

Working Experience

No more than 5 years of working experience in software development
