General requirements:

- Motivated, good attitude

- Smart, selflearning

- Preferably living nearby

- Available at least 4 days/week

- Fluent English (CET 6)

Technical requirements:

- Interested in programming outside school / work

- Knows object-oriented programming

- Knows SQL-databases

- Knows how to make a user-friendly mobile app (android / ios)

- Knows how to use cloud-services

- Is interested in IoT

- Is aware of noSQL-databases (for example the Hadoop-ecosystem)

- Is aware of Big Data (collecting, storing, analytics tools)

- Knowledge of some industrial engineering principles is an advantage (what is a pump, valve, P&ID, PLC, SCADA/HMI, )

Internship goal

- Implement some first simple, practical applications of Industry 4.0 that can add value to the business of Actemium Shanghai (Design-Build and Automation solutions for Food, Pharma and Chemical customers)

- These solutions are preferably implemented based on existing standards and using existing offerings of other companies.

- target #1: safety app

- target #2: name-card app based on QR-code (company presentation, maybe augmented reality based on our 3d-drawings?)

- target #3: QR-code app for showing data-sheets/manuals, automatically generated based on our engineering software (Cadworx)

- Other potential targets:

o solution for Industrial IoT based on OPC UA (including learning the basics of programming a PLC/HMI)

o solution for logging and analyzing all events and energy consumptions from our installations with a simple big data logging and analytics application (Splunk?)
