Job: intern for Windows/Linux driver Engineer.

In the position, you will be working with senior SW engineer as an intern in Graphics Software department of SMI, shanghai.

Responsibility includes, but not limited to:
Work on Windows /Linux Graphics, USB driver
Develop and maintain software utility on Windows/Linux.
New chip design/simulation/debugging and bring-up
Develop and maintain hardware simulation tools, design and debugging tool
Qualifications
C/C++ programming and debugging skills on Windows platform
Working Knowledge in Microsoft DDKs and SDKs is preferred
Understanding of Windows or Linux kernel structure
Familiar with kernel debugging tools such as Windbg, KGDB
Familiar with PC architecture and PCI protocol

Job: intern for Algorithm Software Engineer.

In the position, you will be working with senior SW engineer as an intern in Graphics Software department of SMI, shanghai. The job covers understanding SMI Video/Image Codec's work flow, design and implementation new algorithms, CMODELing and co-work with HW to do simulation.
Main responsibility includes, but not limited to:

Design/Develop/Optimize algorithms for digital image processing/compressing
image processing/compressing Algorithms optimization
hardware validation for video/image codec chip.

Qualifications:

Master of Science degree in Computer Science/Electronic Engineering/Applied Mathematics
Proficiency in C/C++ language.
Experience on Image Recognition, Image Compression and Motion Detection.
Familiar H264, MPEG4, MPEG2,DivX-AVI, Video Streaming, TV Broadcast Format for all Video Codec Programming is preferred
Experiences on MMX, SSE, SSE2 optimization is preferred
