Data Center Operations engineer [Intern]
The Data Center Operations Engineer [Intern] is responsible for assisting Amazon Data Center team to drive some of the most technical, cost efficient, and fast paced project schedules achievable. Amazon Engineers are constantly challenged to drive continuous improvement and deliver the highest quality, most technically efficient data centers in the world.
As a Data Center Operations Engineer [Intern] you will be a part of highly creative, efficient team tasked with tackling the most fascinating and challenging problems in building, and operating Amazon data facilities. This is a global opportunity where the candidate of the Data Center Operations Engineer [Intern] will have to work with teams in USA, Brazil, Ireland, Germany, India, Singapore, Korea, Japan, Australia.

Key Responsibilities:
At Amazon we are a global team responsible for the operation of industry leading, geographically diverse, large scale critical facilities.
The Data Center Operations Engineer[Intern] will be responsible for:
o Creating technical document including research / design / modification / review / presentation for the technical operations team.
o Driving Kaizen work shop. Engage the team members of the technical operations team. Chose a segment of the operations work and put it into the work shop, find out the background / current status / weakest link / root cause, using the Kaizen method to find out the solution / action items and manage the implementation.
o Manage facility operations related project including research / planning / document creating / presentation / cost management / human resource management / schedule management.
o Concurrently managing multiple projects including new data center building and capital improvement projects associated with existing data centers.
o Operational support including review of procedures, best practices, and maintenance initiatives.
o Work with contractors and vendors to deliver efficient and high quality project turn-overs.
o Travel to datacenter sites for engineering evaluations, electrical systems audits, mechanical system reviews, startup testing, and full commissioning, as required.
Qualifications:
o Possess leadership and problem solving skills.
o English reading and writing skills.
o College student or Bachelor s degree holder in Engineering or Science.
o Microsoft Office [Outlook/MS Word/MS Excel] skills
o Be a motivated, highly dependable individual with limited oversight.
o Possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, maintain high quality standards.
o Possess ability and willingness to think outside of the box to find creative and innovative solutions to reduce costs with no impact on quality and reliability.

时间要求：实习时间3个月或以上, 每周工作4--5天优先
面向对象：2015年毕业在校生

专业要求：工科及工科专业背景专业皆可
