Works towards building more expertise in assigned functions while meeting established performance objectives. 2. Under direct supervision, performs assigned tasks to support project delivery, product support and/or development activities. 3. Assists in tasks for maintenance of power systems applications functionality; including code fixes, documentation, and user interfaces. 4. Assists senior engineer in implementing pre-defined new functionality with power system application software. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: 1. Requires MSEE with thesis in power systems. 2. Must have basic understanding of power systems, market systems, and/or energy management systems. 3. Some programming experience and familiarity with basic database operations. Job Title 2:Power System Software Test EngineerESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1. Working with the test lead and the team assigned to, to test multiple versions of software. 2. Implement test functions: test plans, test environments, defect tracking and reporting. Test categories may include regressions, reliability, scalability, stress, performance and / or deployment. 3. Creating test plans and procedures as needed. 4. Testing the software functions assigned. 5. Reporting the results of testing. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: 1. Requires Master degree in Automation of Power Systems 2. Must have basic understanding of power systems. Real-world experience with Power flow analysis a plus 3. Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Job Title 3:Software EngineerESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1. Works towards building more expertise in assigned functions while meeting established performance objectives. 2. Under direct supervision, performs assigned software maintenance, enhancement and/or development tasks to support project delivery, product support and/or development activities. 3. May develop or enhance existing functionality to user interfaces. 4. Assists with bug fix designs and presents to senior engineers for review. Implements the accepted design within the scheduled time and budget. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: 1. Requires Master degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent degree or equivalent work experience. 2. Must have basic understanding of software development methodologies. 3. Some experience writing code in C, C , Java, Oracle, or relevant. Job Title 4:Software Engineer (Software Engineering Group, Distribution Management Systems)ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1. Supports Distribution Management System (DMS) Application and Modeling activities for end-user and demonstration systems. 2. Under direct supervision, develops software applications and tools to assist in DMS Modeling activities. 3. Performs tasks to support project delivery, product development, and product support activities. 4. Generates technical documentation as well as unit and functional tests. 5. Assists with application maintenance by monitoring and correcting software defects. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: 1. Bachelor/Master degree in power systems. 2. Must have basic understanding of power systems. Real-world experiences with Power flow analysis a plus. 3. Some programming experience in C and/or Java and familiarity with basic database operations. Job Title 5:R&D Automated Test EngineerESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1. Design the automated test solutions and good methods to meet the requirements from testing team. 2. Implement assigned automated test cases with common language, for example, C/C , VS C#, VC , VB, Test Complete, etc. The test cases should produce automated test results. 3. Maintain the automation test system and automated test cases, automation test scripts, etc. 4. Keep abreast of latest developments in test equipment technologies, tools and processes. Identify opportunities to use these latest developments to improve ALSTOM GRID SAS product offer. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED 1. Bachelor degree in Industry Automation or Computer Science. 2. Scripting languages (i.e.: Shell, Python) software development language. 3. Able to produce test documentation to support the automated test cases. 4. Protection protocol knowledge is a plus. 5. Coding experience in C/C is a plus. Job Title 6:R&D Software Verification EngineerESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1. Plan software verification activities. 2. Identify verification test criteria from requirements and architectural models. 3. Design verification tests. 4. Execute software verification tests. 5. Perform defect investigation on target hardware. 6. Analyze and report test results. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED 1. Master degree in Power Automation or Relay Protection, or Software Engineering or Computer Science. 2. Very good basic knowledge on relay protection, or digital substation solution is preferred. 3. Coding experience in C/C is mandatory. 4. Scripting languages (i.e.: Shell, Python) software development language is advantageous. 5. Basic knowledge about SW test approach and test process in SW engineering is advantageous. Job Title 7:R&D Application Software EngineerESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1. Developing software specifications to identify the technical behavior of the deliveries to suit the system requirements. 2. Definition of software specification/design using the UML and Mat lab Simulink modeling languages. 3. Design, implement and unit test software components. 4. Perform Bug fixing. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED 1. Master degree in Power Automation or Relay Protection. 2. Electrical network and protection knowledge is a must. 3. Protection protocol knowledge is a plus. 4. Coding experience in C/C is mandatory. Job Title 8:Product Validation EngineerESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1. Responsible for tests validation (including safety validation) for a dedicated project / products. 2. Participate in validation test plan and resource estimation. 3. Participate in System Requirements analysis and review and Product Specification testability. 4. Responsible for identification of tests cases and tests procedures, scenarios and scripts development exhaustive without being impracticable (reasonable time and resources) to evaluate product or system according System requirements. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED 1. Master degree in Power Automation or Relay Protection. 2. Very good basic knowledge on relay protection, or digital substation solution is preferred. 3. Know well about the usage of Omicron is advantageous. 4. Coding experience in C/C and Scripting languages (i.e.: Shell, Python) software development language is advantageous. 5. Basic knowledge about SW test approach and test process in SW engineering is advantageous. Job Title 9:R&D Product Support EngineerESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1. Comprehending software design specifications and identifying the technical behavior of software component. 2. Analyzing and resolving defects raised from software component. 3. Software unit testing and integration testing. 4. Software design specifications updating. 5. Communicating with Platform team and Communications team. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED 1. Master degree in Power Automation or Relay Protection. 2. Electrical network and protection knowledge is a must. 3. Protection protocol knowledge is a plus. 4.
