[u]Job Summary[/u]

The Java Engineer brings specific technical knowledge about the development of software and the tools needed to undertake development and to package the outcome. This role is focused on programming required for custom application development, and other areas requiring hand coding. Languages may include JAVA, HTML, and others. The role is additionally applicable to custom and advanced SQL development. The Java Engineer will participate in the requirements gathering, design, development, packaging, and implementation of software. The Java Engineer provides leadership in utilizing a defined software development methodology to develop software and in the most appropriate use of the available tools.

[u]Key Responsibilities[/u]

1. This position requires technical skills that can be demonstrated and an ability to resolve complex problems quickly while working in a demanding, high pressure environment.
2. Analyze, design, develop and maintain Java web application including coding, testing, debugging and documenting programs in support of the Software Development Life Cycle.
3. Develop and sustain automated testing included HTTP and integration functional tests.
4. Write technical documents that accurately describe feature/designs.
5. The candidate is expected to communicate the impact of problems/solutions to his/her manager, design solutions, write code, design, document and write test cases, run unit tests and perform general System Integration testing.

Flexible to work in an office and to travel among customer sites on demand

[u]Skills & Attributes[/u]

1. 1+ years' experience in software development, with strong experience in J2EE and web application development.
2. In-depth knowledge on J2EE and mainstream J2EE frameworks, such as Struts, Spring, Ibatis, Hibernate, etc.
3. Familiar with one of major commercial database such as Teradata, Oracle, DB2/UDB and etc.
4. Experience with spring, hibernate and struts frameworks.
5. Experience with java open source software such as Liferay and etc.
6. Ability to grasp new technologies quickly, strong sense of ownership, initiative, dependability and good teamwork;
7. Self-motivated
8. Works independently

[u]Basic Qualifications[/u]

1. University degree or equivalent degree, major in engineering, computer science or mathematics
2. Travel is required
3. Excellent interpersonal skills

[u]Preferred Qualifications[/u]

1. Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly present sophisticated technical concepts to a broad range of individuals

[u]Job Summary[/u]

The ETL Consultant specializes in the design and development of the ETL environment, processes, programs, and scripts to acquire data from source systems and apply the data to the tables in the database. This individual must have the skills necessary to understand the overall data warehouse architecture. The ETL Consultant designs and builds the ETL environment with the specific toolset required by the client. The ETL Consultant may also provide input to the database designer to optimize the data loading of the physical database. The ETL Consultant may be the Lead Consultant on a project.

[u]Key Responsibilities[/u]

1. Capture ETL Requirements.
2. Design, develop, and test processes for extracting data from source systems or production databases.
3. Design, develop, and test processes for validating and conditioning data prior to loading into a data warehouse.
4. Design, develop, and test processes for loading initial and cyclical data into a data warehouse.
5. Design the processes to meet service level agreements for data timeliness and frequency.
6. Determine which data elements are historic and the retention period for historic data.
7. Determine data growth trends and peak business periods.

Flexible to work in an office and to travel across Northern China when required

[u]Skills & Attributes[/u]

1. 1+ years' experience of Database application development.
2. In depth knowledge of RDBMS Theory and SQL.
3. Familiar with mainstream data modeling tools, such as ERWin.
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
5. Self-motivated
6. Works independently

1. BS or above, major in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Mathematics or equivalent degree
