Kokomo Capital is an independent global proprietary trading group that focuses on high-frequency trading strategies and is actively trading on 15 exchanges, amongst others the ASX, SEHK, TSE and NASDAQ. Kokomo Capital was founded in 2007 and employs 32 employees in its offices in Hong Kong, New York and Sydney.

Job Opening

Junior Researcher/ Quant Trader

Job description:

Trading Strategy Development

Trading Strategy Simulation

Strategy back testing

Trading in variety of stock markets

Research and Development on trading strategy, market situation etc.

Write-up trading programs

Presentation of ideas and concepts

Job requirements:

Bachelor Degree, Master Degree, PhD in Engineering or Computer Science is preferable

Fluent in English (an advantage)

C , Matlab, Java, Multi-threaded programming, Signal Processing/ Time Series Analysis, Algorithms

Strong quantitative background

Academic excellence

Disciplined and hard working

Strong interest to work and learn in financial markets
