思科系统中国研发中心于2005年1月成立于中国上海。至2005年十月底,在短短9个月的时间里,已经聚集了100多名高级软件工程师。其中包括来自上海贝尔阿尔卡特、朗讯、华为等实力雄厚的软件开发通信企业的精英。2005年8月2日,思科系统中国研发中心正式注册为思科系统(中国)研发有限公司,注册地址为上海市宜山路900号科技大楼C栋13-15层。公司将综合涵盖思科公司所有的产品和技术系列,成为思科在亚太地区、继印度的第二研发中心。思科系统(中国)研发有限公司的成立,系思科公司首席执行官约翰-钱伯斯先生2004年9月来华访问时宣布。公司的经营范围包括:数据通信、电子产品、软件和网络技术及产品的研究、开发;自行研发成果的转让及许可,并提供相关的技术支持、技术咨询服务。

About the Group:

The vision of Cisco's Office of Strategy and Planning is to be a catalyst for Cisco transformation.

The Office of Strategy & Planning is helping shape the future of Cisco by collaboratively leading emerging solutions development, supporting new business models and orchestrating country and business transformation opportunities across Cisco.

The Role

The intern will support short-to-medium term, high impact, programs and engagements ranging from coordinating broad cross-functional teams towards transformational change to conducting targeted analysis within a particular customer segment or opportunity in the business. As a member of a small, high-profile, high-performance, fast-paced internal consulting team, this role provides great perspective and exposure playing a significant role in enabling Cisco's Services, Solutions, and Globalisation strategy.

In analysis - this role will conduct research, develop frameworks, scenarios and perform critical analysis tasks supporting New Business Models, business and market analysis, solutions/services strategies and globalization initiatives (e.g. developing framework and initial eco-system partners).
