Position Description:
Resource and Environment Branch of China National Institute of Standardization is implementing a lot of international projects in the field of energy efficiency and eco-labeling. All these projects aim to facilitate the policy up-take of Sustainable Consumption and Production (SCP) in Asia, to promote economic prosperity and poverty reduction in Asian countries through sustainable growth with reduced environmental impact, improved eco-efficiency and so on. Now we are offering a full-time position to support in developing policy research on energy conversation and managing, coordinating and monitoring of the international projects.

Requirements:

* Hold master or doctor degree in energy or environmental engineering, economics, business management, international relations, finance, or fields related to our activities, with good or excellent results.
* Applicants with overseas education and work experience are preferred.
* Excellent spoken and written English skills.
* Applicants with relevant work experience in international projects are preferred.
* Hold a strong interest in energy conservation and relevant fields.
* Male applicants are preferred.

Background:
Resource and Environment Branch subjects to China National Institute of Standardization commits itself to resource and environment standardization research, related policy support and technical service to energy conservation and emission reduction, mainly takes charge of the standardization of energy conservation, emission reduction, water conservation, renewable energy source and other areas, manages secretariats of standardization technical committees in related fields centralizedly; administrates China Energy Label Center and Energy-Saving Product Helping People Project Management Office; takes charge of the works of China Energy Saving and Emission Reduction Standardization Technology Alliance and Secretariat of China Energy Conservation Association Small and Medium-sized Enterprise Energy Conservation Professional Committee; as well as the establishment and operation of energy-using product energy efficiency laboratory.
Upon over 30 years of development, Resource and Environment Branch has gradually become a comprehensive resource and environment standardization research and development base integrating standardization research, experiment, management, consultation and service. It won National Advanced Unit in Quality Related Works, National Advanced Unit in Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine and for "Rejuvenating the Quality Inspection through Science and Technology" as well as more than 20 prizes for "Rejuvenating the Quality Inspection through Science and Technology" and China Standard Innovation Contribution Award, providing all-around standardization support and service to China's sustainable development. In future, Resource and Environment Branch will further make positive contributions to China's construction of a resource-conserving and environmentally-friendly society and promotion of circular economy development.
