About China ADC

Teradyne Application Development Center （ADC）, was formed in 2004 in Shanghai to provide test program development capability to TAG worldwide. It started with 10 people and now is the largest team in the TAG. This growth has driven by the many successes of ADC. Each year, ADC along with TAG delivers test services to all our important customers around the world in places like the USA, Europe, Japan, South Asia and Great China area.

In Teradyne, China ADC is the only team focused on test program conversions. This expertise helps our customers quickly migrate their test programs over to our J750 and FLEX family of testers. It has provided conversion services to more than 300 projects.

China ADC is the center for Teradyne s new hire training program, Training Camp. This training program was designed and developed in Shanghai. ADC has trained more than 120 new hires since 2004. Many new hires enjoyed the experience to meet our Chinese engineers and to see China for the first time.

Job Description

Requirements

Bachelors or Master s degree in Electronic Engineering or similar areas

Knowledge of Digital Signal Processing is desirable

Experience in analysis and debug of digital/analog circuits

Unix/C/C or Windows/VB programming experience

Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.

Experienced in problem solving

Excellent spoken and written English communication skills

Automatic Testing Equipment experience will be a plus.

Hardware Design Engineer

Job Description

Develop semiconductor test solutions hardware for world-wide customers

Provide global hardware design support and consulting

Deliver hardware design training and seminars to customers

Requirements

Bachelors or Master s degree in Electronic Engineering or similar areas.

Good knowledge of electronic circuit theory

Basic understanding of DFM (Design For Manufacturing)

Familiar with PCB material and PCB assembly is plus

Experience in Cadence, PowerPCB, OrCAD, Protel and PADS is plus.

PCB design experience in electronic field is plus

Experience in multi-layer PCB layout is plus

Experience in high-speed PCB design and RF circuitry is plus.

Software Engineer

Job Description

The software engineer designs, develops and tests tools, which convert semiconductor test programs from competitors' platforms to Teradyne platforms, as well as convert from Teradyne platforms to other Teradyne platforms.

The software engineer designs, develops and test ATE-related software tools.

He/She is responsible for the quality and completeness of assignments, including investigation tasks, initial design, development, bug fixing, quality engineering, documentation, and maintenance.

Requirements

BS in computer science, electronics engineering, or related disciplines. Master degree is desirable.

Must possess a minimum of 1 years experience in software development.

Must possess a strong understanding of the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and methodologies.

Familiar with Microsoft Windows, Sun Solaris Unix and Linux system.

Familiar with python, perl, vb, C , C and other programming language.

Understanding about Compiler Construction Principles will be a plus.

ATE experience will be a plus.

Good command of spoken and written English.

Strong self-motivation and good communication skills.
