招聘职位：

TITLE: Software Engineer/Software Application Engineer

职位：软件工程师/软件应用工程师

JOB DESCRIPTION:

-Contribute to embedded software development in one or multiple of the following areas:

a) Linux OS, bootloader, and other IO driver (HDMI/USB/ETHERNET/SDRAM/FLASH/UART etc)

b) Multi-format audio and video decoder, demultiplexer, graphics

c) Middleware modules for common STB(set-top-box)/DTV industry protocols

d) Application modules for various STB/DTV solutions

e) GUI modules

-Tasks will include:

f) Developing pre-tapeout software verification test cases

g) Software design and review

h) Software programming and review

i) Software test plan and test module development

j) Software debug

k) Customer requirement analysis and customer support

QUALIFICATION:

-Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.

-Good C/C programming skill.

-Good English writing and reading skills.

-Good communication skill, team work spirit, self-motivated.

-Experience/Skill/Knowledge in the following areas is preferred:

a) STB/DTV IC and system industry experience. Multi-media IC and system industry experience

b) Assembler programming, especially with MIPS ISA

c) Embedded software environment debug tools

d) Development of Linux kernel for MIPS-based embedded system. Bootloader/BSP development

e) Driver development of HDMI, USB, and Ethernet

f) Various video formats, MPEG2, H.264, AVS, and various audio formats, MPEG1/2/3, AC3, etc.

g) Common STB/DTV industry specs and protocols, in DVB-S, DVB-T, DVB-C, IPTV markets

h) Knowledge of MFC/STL/Script/Java language

i) Embedded GUI development and graphic processing tools such as PhotoShop

j) Software version control system such as clearcase, CVS, mercurial

k) Bug tracking system such as Bugzilla and clearquest

TITLE: Software QA Engineer

职位：软件质量控制工程师

JOB DESCRIPTION:

-Develop test spec and test plan for software used in embedded system in English.

-Develop test spec and test plan for SoC based embedded system in English.

-Execute test plan, report defect in bug tracking system, and support development team in reproducing and debugging.

QUALIFICATION:

-Bachelor degree in computer science or related engineering fields.

-Be skilled in documentation.

-Experience in STB (set top box), Digital TV, or other consumer audio/video products is preferable.

-Experience/knowledge of bug tracking system is a plus.

-Embedded system and MIPS processor experience is a plus.

-Good verbal and writing communication skills.

TITLE: Application Engineer-DTV

JOB DESCRIPTION:

-Develop system board for IC validation.

-Work on IC function verification and performance test.

-Develop evaluation board for demonstration and evaluation.

-Develop reference design for customer design-in.

-Support customers to facilitate their product development cycles.

QUALIFICATION:

-BSEE or MSEE.

-Knowledge of digital and analog circuit.

-Knowledge of RF circuit, electromagnetic fields & micro-wave technology is a plus.

-Knowledge of C language programming.

-Familiar with lab equipments, such as oscilloscope, logic analyzer, spectrum analyzer, etc.

-Experience in hardware development and debug is a plus.

-Experience in MCU firmware or device driver development is a plus.

-Experience in FPGA design/programming is a plus.

-Good English reading and writing skills.

-Good communication skills, team work spirit, self-motivated.

TITLE: Application Engineer-DDR

职位：应用工程师－DDR

JOB DESCRIPTION:

- Do defined validation test.

- Do customer support.

QUALIFICATION:

- BSEE

- Familiar with high-speed memory system: Intel-based PC system, chipset, DDR memory system, high speed interconnects bus and SMBus, or

- Familiar with FPGA design/programming and board design.

- Familiar with C/C programming.

- Familiar with lab equipment, like logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, etc.

- Experience with Python language programming is a plus.

- Experience with system test/ASIC validation methodologies is a plus.

- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

TITLE: IC Design Engineer-Analog & Mixed-signal

岗位名称：IC设计工程师-模拟及混合信号

JOB DESCRIPTION:

-Design and verify mixed-signal IC blocks like Opamp, VCO, Phase Interpolator, CDR, high-speed IOs and etc.

-Simulation and modeling of analog components, circuits and systems.

-Prepare layout floor-plan and oversee layout quality.

-Testing and debug of IC blocks and chips in lab.

QUALIFICATION:

-MS or PhD in electric and electronic engineering.

-Solid knowledge in CMOS analog circuit design.

-Knowledge of high-speed digital circuit/transmission line is a plus.

-Familiar with Spice/Verilog/Mixed-signal simulation and layout extraction. Knowledge of Matlab, ocean script and timing analysis is a plus.

-Familiar with ESD, semiconductor physics and CMOS fabrication.

-Familiar with operating test equipments such as oscilloscope, pattern generator, spectrum analyzer and etc.

-Good communication skills and a team player.

TITLE: IC Design Engineer-RF

JOB DESCRIPTION:

- Design and layout of IC blocks like LNA, Mixer, VGA, LPF, VCO and PLL for TV receivers.

- Simulation and modeling of RF and analog components, circuits and systems.

- Testing and characterization of IC blocks and chips in lab, and ATE and field environments.

QUALIFICATION:

- MS or PhD in electric and electronic engineering.
- Solid knowledge in CMOS RF circuit design.
- Familiar with IC simulation, layout extraction and component modeling tools.
- Familiar with RF test equipments and lab test characterization.

TITLE: Signal Processing Engineer

TITLE: IC Design Engineer-SoC

JOB DESCRIPTION:

-Design logic function block for soc peripheral (USB, Ethernet )

or mpeg1/2/4/AVS/H264/real/VP8 decoding

or Video processing(Scaler/Deinterlace/overlay)

-Simulation/Verification at both module level and system level.

-Module-level synthesis and timing analysis.

-Writing design spec and report.

-FPGA/silicon debug on related modules.

QUALIFICATIONS:

-MSEE in Electric engineering or compute science.

-Familiar with C/C language and verilog language.

-Solid knowledge on digital IC design.

TITLE: DSP Engineer
