dSPACE develops and distributes tools for the development of ECUs and mechatronic systems worldwide. Using dSPACE systems, manufacturers of controllers and electronic control units (ECUs) are able to dramatically reduce their development times and costs, and systematically increase their productiv-ity.

Whether the objective is an electronically controlled diesel injection or fuel cell vehicles, virtually all car manufacturers and many of their suppliers rely on dSPACE hardware and software in their current development projects. dSPACE tools are also used in aerospace, drives technology, medical technology, indus-trial automation, and other fields.

The company also provides comprehensive services from on-site user training to customer-specific system engineering such as turn-key HIL test systems.

To further strengthen our operations in China, we intend to hire a

Field Application Engineer

Responsibilities

Facilitate sales of products by performing engineering services in the automotive, aerospace and industrial markets.

Co-ordinate the preparation of turn-key solutions for complex Hardware-in-the-Loop Simulators, Automatic Production Code Generation,

or advanced Rapid Controller Prototyping.

Perform feasibility and benchmark studies

Deliver technical training courses

Give technical support

Deliver demonstrations that promote the technical features and benefits of our product range.

Be proficient in discussing and understanding customers" detailed technical requirements.

Work closely with existing and potential customers to understand their critical business issues and projects, and help to develop opportunities from these.

Qualifications

Degree in EE, ME, Mechatronics, Controls or equivalent

Knowledge of dSPACE, MATLAB, Simulink, C, controllers and electrical interfaces.

Experience with automotive actuators, sensors and buses.

Interest in and at least basic knowledge of automotive technology

Desire to enter into a customer facing role

Ability to communicate clearly and effectively at all levels.

Self-motivation, initiative and a high drive to succeed.

Language Skill: proficient in English (plus Germany is better)
