Autoliv started our first Joint Venture operation in Nanjing back in 1989. Our growth in China has been fast and exciting. Back in 1999, our annual sales was only 9 MUSD with 150 employees. After we closed the acquisition for Delphi OPS division within this year, we have 13 companies in China, and a total workforce of 4,900 people, and estimated annual sales in 2010 of 5.8 Billion RMB ,which occupies 10% of global annual sales. To strengthen our position in China, we are building a world class technical center in Shanghai. These speak of Autoliv confidence and long term commitment to China. Looking into the future, we believe that our annual sales will soon reach 1 billion USD. With the world class technical center operational by end 2008, we believe our Chinese employees and engineers will play an increasing role in Autoliv global engineering & development for safety restraint technology.
