About The Position
【Responsibilities】
The Pre-sales Consultant is a key member of the China team. Your main objective will be to research and identify new business opportunities to expand the company's client base of leading companies across industry sectors. Based at the company's headquarter in Shanghai, you will work closely with the sales teams who will use your findings to secure new business. In your role, you will play a role as the "sales catalyst", enabling and motivating the sales staff to keep a very high activity level. Reporting to the Director of Sales you will get the opportunity to develop best practices for global application.
【Specific responsibilities will include:】
- Research and analyze business potential within multiple industry verticals
- Conduct needs analyses over the phone to qualify specific target accounts, and support the sales teams with customized solutions and sales pitches
- Regularly report back to the Director of Sales and jointly decide on business focus for the sales teams
- Monitor market trends and keep a large database of existing and new contacts up-to-dated with latest information
- Book client meetings for the sales team Act as first point of contact for incoming client enquiries (via web and phone)

The Person
【Qualifications & Experience】
The company will look for candidates with the following background:
- Fluency in English and Mandarin
- University graduate, preferably with a Business degree
- International cultural experience
- Experience of conducting market research and acquiring information via telephone and web is a strong plus
- Experience as an external or internal management consultant, or business development professional, is a plus
