Job Title: InfoSphere Replication Server Tester
Description:
IBM InfoSphere Replication Server distributes, consolidates, and synchronizes data for high availability, high throughput, and business continuity solutions as well as data distribution and consolidation environments.
It has been a popular product with customers for over 15 years so supports a wide range of interesting scenarios.
CDL InfoSphere Replication Server team works together with Sillicon Valley Lab to support testing and development of the product, including functional testing, system testing, development, and product enablement.
The candidates will work together with the whole product development team on Function Verification Testing (FVT), on both distributed platforms (Unix, Linuw, Windows) and IBM mainframe platform (z/OS).
Responsibility:
- Review product design specification
- Collect test requirements and design the testing
- Prepare the test plan and setup test environments
- Write, execute, and automate the test cases
- Track defects found in the testing
- Report test progress and status
Job Requirement:
1. Familiar with at least 1 Unix or Linux systems;
2. Strong expertise on DB2 database, or at least 1 other enterprise database systems (Oracle, Sybase, Informix, MSSQL);
3. Familiar with at least 1 programming or scripting language (C/C++/Java/Perl/Python)
4. Knowledge on WebSphere MQ and XML is preferred;
5. Good understanding and practise on software engineering.
6. Excellent communication skills in both Chinese and English;
7. Proactive and self-motivated team player.
Qualifications(Education/Major/Certificates)
- Bachelor or Master degree major in CS or EE
